Colored Denim- 5 Days, 5 Ways

Today I'm introducing a new series on my blog- 5 days, 5 ways! Every post in this series will feature a trendy wardrobe staple that I have styled in five different ways. I love taking pieces out of my closet and seeing how many outfits I can create, and this also helps me make the best out of the clothes I have.

I'm going to spotlight colored denim today, which is a big trend for the upcoming fall season. The pants I am wearing are a cobalt blue purchased from Kohl's.

First off, I paired my blue pants with a gray cardigan, a white lace tank top, and simple black flats.

Of course, I had to use my versatile chambray shirt! I also wore a leather beaded necklace and leopard flats for a pop of pattern.

For this outfit, I wore a black tee, a white cami, a heart necklace (which you can't really see), and leopard flats.

With the colored pants, I paired a striped tee with my Sperrys.

Also with the outfit above, I wore a blue hair bow that matches the pants perfectly!

For the final outfit, I wore brown combat boots with a white sweater and colorful scarf.

Easter Outfits

Can you believe Easter is on Sunday? It doesn't even feel like spring yet.

Today I am going to share with you three Easter outfits. Let me know which one is your favorite!

This is the fanciest outfit. It is very girly, springy, and dressy. I paired a black-and-white polka dotted dress with a coral cardigan and black flats.

For this outfit, I am wearing a floral-printed skirt, flesh-colored tights, pink flats, a white t-shirt, and a denim jacket.

If you are one of those people who just doesn't like wearing skirts or dresses, then this outfit is for you! I paired khakis with a mint polka dot top and a gray cardigan.

A Night Out in the City

Last night I went out to the city with a friend and my parents. We had dinner at a seafood restaurant and attended a phenomenal ballet. It was so much fun!

I wore a (very) sparkly pink top that I purchased from Filene's Basement a while ago. For bottoms I wore black skinny jeans from Kohl's and my tall chestnut brown Uggs.

I did my own french manicure yesterday afternoon.

 

For makeup, I just wore some light sparkly eyeshadow, a little bit of mascara, and some pink Mary Kay lip gloss.

 

I love any chance to dress up!

Chambray Shirts

I love my chambray shirt! It is definitely a versatile wardrobe staple. I purchased mine from Kohl's. You can wear it year-round, and it can go with jeans, leggings, skirts, shorts, and dresses! Wow! Here are some of the outfits that I created with my shirt.

This is a great cozy winter outfit. I paired my chambray shirt with some black leggings, a purple scarf, and Uggs.

For another cold-weather outfit, I have my chambray shirt on with jeans, a white cami, Uggs, and a blue and green necklace.

This is definitely a summer outfit. With the chambray shirt is a polka-dot cami, mint green shorts, a heart necklace, and a belt.

Finally, I kept this outfit nice and simple by pairing my shirt with a floral skirt. Perfect for spring!
